Roman Shirley is an osteopath D.O. and the founder of OSTEO DIRECT, an osteopathy clinic in Montreal specializing in the rapid management of acute pain and urgent situations.Graduated in osteopathy in France and established in Quebec for several years, he treats patients suffering from sudden pain such as torticollis, lower back blockages, acute neck pain, or significant mobility limitations.
His approach is particularly suited for people looking for an osteopath in Montreal who can quickly assess the situation and relieve intense pain or joint blockage.
Accustomed to handling a high volume of consultations, Roman Shirley regularly sees patients suffering from acute pain, whether they are injured workers, athletes, or individuals immobilized by back pain or sudden torticollis.
The goal of the consultation is twofold: to quickly relieve pain and help the patient regain mobility in the best possible conditions.
Beyond emergency treatment, he also pays particular attention to understanding the causes of pain in order to help his patients reduce the risk of recurrence and preserve their health over the long term.

Maïté Beauquier
Osteopath D.O.
Maïté Beauquier — Osteopath D.O.
Expertise:
An experienced osteopath with an international background, Maïté graduated from a French osteopathy school in 2017. She then practiced in private clinics and healthcare facilities in French Guiana, followed by Buenos Aires, Argentina, before arriving in Montreal in 2025.
Her diverse experience has enabled her to develop a comprehensive practice (musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial, fascial, and somato-emotional) with all types of patients (adults, athletes, pregnant women, infants, children, and adolescents).
Her primary goal is to identify the root cause of pain in order to provide fast and lasting relief through a gentle and holistic approach. She treats patients as a whole, integrating both physical and emotional aspects while considering each individual’s profile (professional environment, psychosocial factors, activities, stress, anxiety, etc.), which can significantly impact—and often be the source of—pain. She also guides patients toward better overall health through practical advice they can apply in their daily lives.
Approach:
- Diploma in Osteopathy (D.O.) from C.O.S Strasbourg
- RITMA member
- Training in stress, anxiety, and depression: integrative osteopathic approach focusing on the brain–gut–pelvis axis

Mohamed-Amin Belmaaziz
Osteopath D.O.
Mohamed-Amin Belmaaziz — Osteopath D.O.
Expertise:Mohamed-Amin Belmaaziz is an Osteopath D.O., trained in France, with clinical experience acquired in both Quebec and Ontario. His approach is distinguished by care that is rigorous, structured, and practical, particularly suited for acute pain, postural disorders, chronic pain, and the needs of active patients.
He notably practiced in an emergency osteopathic care setting in Montreal, where he treated common conditions such as lower back pain, torticollis, joint restrictions, muscle spasms, and post-traumatic pain. This experience enables him to quickly assess each situation, adapt his techniques, and provide targeted treatment according to the intensity of the pain and the patient’s abilities.
His experience in Ontario also led him to work with a diverse patient base, including many athletes, patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, and individuals suffering from chronic pain or postural issues. Mohamed-Amin places particular importance on patient education: when appropriate, he incorporates simple advice and home exercises to promote more sustainable recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.
Mohamed-Amin also has additional training in pediatric osteopathy, with a special interest in supporting infants, children, and adolescents. His approach remains gentle, progressive, and adapted to the patient’s age, reason for consultation, and comfort level.
His consultations may include various osteopathic techniques: joint, muscular, fascial, cranio-sacral, and visceral approaches. He is also trained in cupping therapy, which he may incorporate into treatment when relevant.
At Osteo Direct, Mohamed-Amin fully embraces the clinic’s philosophy: thorough evaluation, clear explanations, effective care, and personalized follow-up adapted to each patient’s situation.
